To request a resource to be added to our library collection, please follow these steps:
For individual requests;
a) Click the "My Account" link in the menu.
b) Log in with your username and password. (Information line: 0348 814 26 66 ext. 1338)
c) After logging in, click on your name (member operations) in the top menu.
d) Then, on the page that opens, click the "Request Publication" button in the menu on the left.
e) Enter the information about the work in the relevant fields on the Publication Request Form. You must enter data in the fields marked with an asterisk. Otherwise, it will not be saved.
f) Click the "Submit" button to complete the request.
For non-individual requests;
Academic department heads affiliated with our university can submit publication requests to our EBYS system by writing the bibliographic information of books and academic publication databases that wish to be included in the "Publication Request List" table and saving it in Excel format.
Our Resource Selection Principles
a) The selected resources should be at the level and quality of the education, teaching, and research provided at the university.
b) The balance between the total number of resources should be maintained, and attention should be paid to ensuring that the selection includes sufficient and up-to-date information.
c) Literary and cultural productions appropriate to the level should be included, enabling users to develop culturally and utilize their extracurricular time.
d) Explanations regarding the knowledge transfer suggested by faculty members for their education, teaching, and research activities should be provided.
e) The same principles apply to purchased and subscribed electronic resources.
